FIVIO FOREIGN “SLIME THEM” FEAT. LIL YACHTY
Fivio Foreign is joined by Lil Yachty on “Slime Them” – the newest visual to accompany Fivio’s chart-topping debut album B.I.B.L.E. released last week.
Fivio and Boat are in peak form on “Slime Them”, seamlessly trading devilish bars back and forth as they slide over a spooky, hard-hitting drill beat produced by AyoAA. The hugely dynamic production, laden with wompy drill bass and fierce lightning cracks, seems to channel that same lovably irreverent, lightning-in-a-bottle energy as those early Fivio records like “Big Drip” and ‘Wetty” that fans first fell in love with – only this time with the added bonus of savage boy Boat.
The music video for “Slime Them” – directed by Lil Boat’s go-to AMD Visuals and expertly sprinkled with VFX by underground staple, Nitetive – shows the pair walking through the seemingly endless halls of a lavish mansion as they charismatically take turns delivering their bars direct-to-camera. Accompanied by their respective entourages, Fivio is Dickie-suited up while Yachty channels B.I.B.L.E.’s executive producer with his black-on-black look.
With no church in sight, “Slime Them” is certainly one of the more turnt-up, party-type songs on B.I.B.L.E., and feels like a reminder that just because he shows his growth and range across the album, even dipping into his gospel and R&B bags at some points, Fivio can still shake the room with a hard-hitting drill record.
